Materials

Tuleva has developed production methodologies focused on critical minerals including Lithium, Silicon, and Aluminum. Additional materials are planned to be added in the future.
Green Aluminum

Today, Aluminum production emits 3% of world’s CO2, and consumes an enormous amount of electricity. Tuleva
will produce Aluminum without any carbon emission and use significantly less electricity.

Lithium Battery Materials

Tuleva foresees significant advances inLithium battery chemistries as the industry searches for high-capacity, fast-charging battery chemistries. Tuleva is prepared to supply materials for current and next generation batteries without the need to retool its manufacturing faciliites.

Silicon Materials

The growth in renewable energy generation and the automation markets increases the need for solar cells and microelectronics. These in turn depend on silicon raw materials. Tuleva’s green silicon quantum dots, crystalline silicon
nanoparticles, and other silicon
products will address this demand.

How it Works

The Tuleva Difference

Conventional lithium processing utilizes only 7% of the ore and creates toxic waste to produce just one product.

The Tuleva process utilizes 95% of the ore, eliminates toxic waste, and produces 3 products.

The Capture and Use of Atmospheric CO2

Used to produce certain battery-grade lithium chemicals combined with zero carbon emission makes our process truly carbon-negative.

Advanced Electrochemical Process

Minimizing acid and other toxic waste by reducing the number of steps required for purification. We are collaborating with prestigious lab partners to improve our approach.

An Efficient and Clean Industrial Heating System

Reduces the energy consumption for heating and captures, reuses, and repurposes waste heat.

A Novel Chemical Separation and Recapture System

Recapturers direct materials for reuse in our process.  Almost 90% of water and 95% of chemicals used in our process are recaptured and reused. We are working to further improve the percentage of water recapture in our process.

Multi-feedstock Processing Capability

Including a variety of hard rock ore and enriched brine, provides flexibility and scalability to adapt to changing market demands and resource availability.
